We have special cards for foreigners who want to enjoy the benefit of Hostelling International card but they have not yet applied the card in their country of origin. Now you can apply for HI-Card and it's valid for 1 year (Worldwide Accepted).The cost of card is 350 baht but you have to add some money for delivery cost also. Please add 30 baht for Registered mail and 50 baht for Express mail (Within Thailand) so the total cost is 380 baht or 400 baht, depending on your choice of delivery service. You can come to apply in person at the office and the cost is 350 baht only.

Application Process
1.Please write your Name, Surname, Gender, Date of birth, Address and your nationality -- all are according to your passport to hi_ecommerce@tyha.org
Please also send the postal address to this e-mail so that we can send you the HI-card to the right place .
2.Kindly transfer money to Siam Commercial Bank - Thewet Branch (The Color of this bank is purple) Account Name : Thai Youth Hostel Association
Account Number: 020-2-46581-0 and then please send the copy of Pay-in slip
to fax number 02-628-7416 (please write your name surname telephone and
address on it too) or you can scan and send it to that e-mail
--- we do not accept money transferring from foreign account, since there is international transferring money fee ---
